This section shows briefly all the features of the Open Channel Hydraulics Flow app including those for next version releases.

Uniform-Steady Flow

The following are modules for calculating uniform steady flow for various open channels.

1. Rectangular Channel

Rectangular channel deals with open channel with the sides positioned vertically.

2. Trapezoidal Channel

Trapezoidal channel deals with open channels with sides having an angle with the horizontal or vertical. The tangent of the angle is called here as side slope.

3. Circular Channel

Circular channel delas with circular sections. For a circular channel to be open channel, it's water depth shall be less than the dismeter of the channel (pipe).

4. Natural Channel (Not yet implemented)
